The Vipiteno christmas market is one of the most impressive market in the alpine area. I t is settled in the main place of the town, where you will find around 40 different market stands with christmas goods, local products, and much more. Taste the fine mulled wine or enjoy a cup of tea by the catering stands. And breathe the air of a mountaineer christmas.
The Tower of the Twelve is the symbol of the alpine city. The landmark was built in the 1 5th century and changed only his roof since then. During the year the tower isn't accessable, but in the christmas period the tower is hosting a crib museum.
Experience the living advent calendar of Vipiteno. A small
group of angels and sheperds is moving through the town to open the advent window every day at 5pm.
On weekends brass music groups are entertaining on the
stage by the christmas market. The alpine sound and the
sweet flavours are creatin an unique atmosphere.
Taste the local specialities! Enjoy a cup ofmulled wine, apple strudel, a local herbage liquor or simply a piece of our best bacon.
