From the tourist information office in Welsberg, you walk along the Bahnhofstraße and you turn to your left into the park “Prenninger Park”. Pleasant walk along the Rienz river the district heating plant. Continue to the railway underpass before the entrance to the Pragsertal Valley and then slightly uphill to the forest gardens. Via hiking trail 2a back to Welsberg.
