The well-marked tour begins in the historic district of Stufles, the oldest quarter of Brixen. After a short while, you leave the bustling city center and enter quieter surroundings. The route passes the Knöspele distillery (tastings available by prior appointment) and continues along the northernmost vineyards of the region to Neustift. There, the renowned Augustinian Monastery of Neustift invites visitors to discover its cultural, religious, and oenological treasures. The return path to Brixen leads through the monastery’s own vineyards and past several excellent private wineries.
