The hiking trail to the Malga Tarres di Sopra has a length of about 12.2 km. The path leads through nature to a beautiful alpine pasture. If you would like to take a shorter hike to the Malga Tarres di Sopra, you can follow path no. 16 directly from Trafoi to the alpine pasture.
The starting point of this hike is in Trafoi at the parking lot next to the Hotel Bella Vista. From there follow path no. 17 to the rif. Forcola. From there follow path no. 20 and then path no. 12 to the Malga Tarres di Sopra. The descent is via path no. 16.
All the informations about the hike is without guarantee. Hiker should look at the weather forecast and plan the tour as best as possible.
If you do not want to travel to Trafoi by private car, you can use the pubblic transport. With the bus line 271 you get from Prato allo Stelvio/Spondigna to Trafoi in about half an hour. The bus stop is located next to the Hotel Bella Vista.
From Spondigna/Spondinig via the street to the Stelvio Pass SS 38 to Gomagoi, then ahead to Trafoi.
In order to get to the starting point, the parking area next to the Hotel Bella Vista is the most suitable.
