Start at the Winnebachtal parking lot in Terenten and follow Trail No. 5B, which passes the Lerchnerhof farm and leads to Trail No. 5 towards Pertinger Alm. Continue on Trail No. 5 until you reach the turnoff for the Gamssteig. Gamssteig (5A) takes you across green meadows with stunning views to Hof Alm.
From here, follow a short stretch of the Pfunders High Trail to Tiefrasten-Hüttl, where you have the option to detour to the Tiefrastenhütte (45 minutes). Alternatively, descend to Astner Bergalm and continue back to the parking lot.
