The hut is located on the Speikboden at an altitude of 1,370 meters. It is open in summer from approximately the beginning of July to October and in winter from the beginning of December to April.
Start: Speikboden valley station. Follow trail no. 29a to the alp hut. Duration: approx. 1½ hours.
Alternative: Start in Sand in Taufers/Campo Tures. Follow trails no. 4, 27, and 29b to the alp hut. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
