Cycling route Welsberg – Lienz

It is one of the most popular and most frequently used cycle paths in South Tyrol: the cross-border Drau Cycle Path to Lienz (A). The cycle route to Lienz (A) follows a well-marked cycle path and is suitable for all types of bicycles. The 60 km can be completed without great effort and are also easy to manage for families. The return journey from Lienz (A) is by train. The tour is also interesting because you can explore two countries by bike (do not forget your ID document!) – from South Tyrol (I) to East Tyrol (A). In addition, the East Tyrolean town of Lienz (A) impresses with its authentic character. Of course, the route does not have to be completed all the way from Welsberg to Lienz, as there are numerous rental, service and return points of „Papin Sport Rent a Bike“ along the route.
