Rewarding summit tour at Val Venosta’s Sun Mountain. Take the San Martino in Monte cable car to reach lofty heights. This excursion to Cima Vermoi starts at the mountain station.
Follow the broad forest road through meadows and forest until you reach the so-called St. Martiner Alpl (no possibilities to stop for a refreshment). Continue through moderately steep forested slopes until you get to the junction where path no.9 is marked. Follow the "Vermoi" signposting. Continue on the medium-steep path through the forest until the timberline. Finally, you cross stony, rocky slopes to reach the summit cross at 2,929m.
