Walking a pilgrimage route in Riffian has a long tradition: for more than 700 years, people have been coming here on pilgrimage. The seven stations trace the path Mary walked – the Way of the Seven Sorrows, as depicted on the panels surrounding the miraculous image on the high altar of the parish and pilgrimage church.

Always stay on marked trails, check the weather conditions before you hike and pay particular attention to snow, wet ground, or slippery sections.
