Hiking on the Fuchsberg

From the mountain station of the Unterstell cable car, follow the trail no. 10a to Hof Patleid and then turn left towards Katharinaberg. The path no. 24a flows halfway between the Berggasthaus Linthof and the Hof Innerunterstell into the Meraner Höhenweg Nr. 24. Via a very varied passage of the high-altitude trail with views of the Vinschgau, Juval Castle and into the Schnalstal valley, you reach the Kofpron farm at 1,436 m. Here you leave the Merano high-altitude trail and climb over the hiking trail no. 23 to the historic Dickhof. From there it goes through meadows and larch forests down to the Linthof. The descent continues on the path no. 10 back to the starting point at the mountain station of the cable car Unterstell. On the way there, a short detour to the nearby viewing platform is worthwhile.
