Alpine Ridgeway from the Latemar mountain to the Rosengarten mountain

By following path [18], which starts at the mountain station of the chair lift, you will achieve the platform LATEMAR.360° within just a few minutes. There will be a spectacular and absolutely unique outlook at the surrounding mountain world waiting to be admired. From there, the Latemar-Höhenweg [22] leads past the Erzlahn-Scharte at the foot of the Eggentaler Horn to trail [21]. Following the moderately ascending forest trail [21], you reach the Mitterleger (1839 m) and the entrance to the rock labyrinth at the foot of the Latemar. On the labyrinth trail, trail [20], you arrive at trail [18], turn left and follow it to the intersection with trail [21]. Turn right onto path [21] and walk through the woods of Latemar until you reach the junction with path [13], where you turn left and reach the Grand Hotel Carezza. Cross the road once and follow path [6] to the valley station of the Paolina chairlift. The chairlift takes you up about 400 m and you reach the Paolina Hut at the foot of the Rotwand in the Catinaccio. From here the Hirzelsteig paths [552] and [549] leads to the Laurins Lounge our destination point of the hike. The cable cars König Laurin I+II and the Welschnofen cable car take us to Welschnofen, from where the various villages of the Eggental and Bolzano can be reached by public transport.
