This circular hike takes you from St. Magdalena up to Lanzberg and along the Talblickweg trail towards the valley head. Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful views, traditional farms, places to stop for refreshments and authentic insights into rural life in the Gsiesertal Valley.

The hike starts at the parish church in St. Magdalena. From there, the trail leads uphill to Lanzberg at 1,470 m, where a sunny terrace with beautiful views and good food invites you to take a break. Afterwards, you continue along the Talblickweg trail to Weißberg, passing the old hamlet of Huiben and the Huber farms. Across the ski slope, you reach the Hackler farms and then continue to the Talschlusshütte at 1,465 m. At the Talschlusshütte, cross the bridge and follow the old Gsiesertal road uphill, passing the Keil and Unterhaberer farms. Then turn left and continue to the Oberhaberer and Kleinster farms. The path then leads downhill to the Waldsamer farms with their farm dairy, and on to Kuine and Madleiten. From there, continue straight ahead to the Regiohof with its fruit workshop, the Reierhof show farm and the Kradorfer farms. Above the Kradorfer farms, follow the Mühlweg trail on the right, which leads you back to the starting point at the parish church in St. Magdalena.
