Above Tarres you find the hike- & bikeparadise Tarres Alp. Hiker, extreme hiker or mountain biker are there in good hands. On the Laces Alp, Tarres Alp and the Mountain Restaurant Tarres Alp are served local specialities.
Above Tarres there exists a lovely walking paradise, the Tarres Alp. Hiker, extreme hiker or mountain biker are there in good hands. At the Laces and Tarres Alp are served local specialities. Everyone who like it a bit longer, can start the tour at the car park of the chairlift station Malga di Tarres. Following the sign no.1 to the alp. At the begin it goes without slope at the forest road and along the forest path, after a clearing the path becomes increasingly steeper and rougher. When the forest road ends, alpine meadows begin, over there you have a fantastic view!
Leisurely hikers can take the chairlif, which runs from mid May to late October on following times:

Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (last ride 5.45 p.m.)
Weekend & on holidays: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (last ride 5.45 p.m.)

Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (last ride 4.45 p.m.)

Tip: The trail no. 9 will take you after about an hour to the Tarres Lake. Here you will find a quiet location and panoramic view.
The chairlift Malga Tarres Alp is open from 14th May to 25th October 2015. Opening times: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 2 to 6 p.m.. Wednesday and Sunday for mountaineers from 7a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 2 to 6 p
