Summit tour Mittereck

In the mountain village of Planeil, the trail leads towards the end of the village in the north. There, the trail turns left and follows the signs for No. 10 to Planeiler Alm/Mittereck. After about 1 hour, the trail follows the forest road to a crossroads, where the trail leads left towards Stoanmandl/Mittereck. Once you reach Stoanmandl, you will see Lake Haidersee for the first time and the trail continues along the ridge to Mittereck.
The return route is via the same path. Alternatively, you can descend on the other side of the Plawenn Valley and climb another peak (Großhorn).Der Rückweg erfolgt über dem selben Weg. Alternativ, kann auf der anderen Seite des Plawenn Tales abgestiegen werden und ein weiterer Gipfel (Großhorn) mitgenommen werden.
