Speed hiking is fast walking with poles and light equipment in demanding terrain offering a variety of physical challenges combined with a profound experience of nature. In Dorf Tirol/Tirolo there are currently three speed hiking routes to the Muthof farms.
The starting point of this speed hiking tour is the car park at the valley station of the Hochmuth cable car. From there the route heads up to the Farmerkreuz inn and from there steeply uphill along trail no. 23 to Mittermut. Finally trail no. 24 leads up to the mountain station of the Hochmuth cable car.
Along the Bolzano-Merano expressway to the Merano Sud/Sinigo exit - Dorf Tirol/Tirolo - along the Hauptstraße/Haslachstraße streets to the valley station of the Hochmuth cable car.
