Start by the Monte Cavallo/Rosskopf mountain station in direction Sterzignerhaus mountain hut, along mark 24 to the Stock mountain station. There turn left and following the narrow ridge to the Monte Cavallo/Rosskopf ridge.
From North: Innsbruck, Brennero, Vipiteno/Sterzing. From South: Bolzano, Bressanone, Vipiteno/Sterzing. The Rosskopf/Monte Cavallo valley station is located in the north of the town.
