After about an hour and a half, you’ll reach the famous composer’s hut of Gustav Mahler, a place full of inspiration where the legendary composer created parts of his 9th and 10th symphonies.
Visiting this historic retreat offers a fascinating insight into Mahler’s creative period and his deep connection to the stunning natural surroundings. Right next door, the Toblach Wildlife Park invites you to observe native animals in their natural habitat – a special experience for visitors of all ages.
The return journey can be made along the same idyllic path or via the scenic route through Altschluderbach before returning to Niederdorf.
