The way up is not far from Val Martello’s pivot if you go by e-bike or by bike. Start at the Trattla sports and leisure center and take the road into the valley. Turn right and continue on path no. 7 to reach Martello’s valley path (South Tyrol Strawberry Trail, no. 36). Go until the bridge and continue towards the village of Martello. First go up the asphalt road before you continue up and down along the sunny slope northwards. Passing by rather steep, irrigated meadows and houses that are acrobatically built into the slopes the road gets narrower and you are surrounded by sloping terrain. Pass by a little church and quickly cross the forest before you arrive at your destination: the Steinwandhof farm situated high above Val Martello with its wonderful view of both the mountains and the valley.
