The Sellaronda ski circuit
Sëlva/Selva di Val Gardena, Dolomites Region Val Gardena
from
center
The Sella Ronda is the best-known circular ski tour taking in the Ladin-speaking valleys Val Gardena/Gröden, Alta Badia, Arabba and Val di Fassa. The entire circuit around the Sella Dolomite massif comprises 26 km of downhill runs - it can also be extended - and is served by lift systems. You should set aside a whole day for the Sella Ronda ski circuit, including stops. In this way you can enjoy the most stunning runs several times, but take account of the fact that lifts close at between 4.14 and 5pm depending on the month to avoid an expensive taxi ride! Being a circuit it can be skied in both directions. Clockwise the tour is signposted in orange, anti-clockwise in green. Given that there are several steep runs the circuit is not really suitable for beginners.
