From lofty heights, you can admire the full beauty of the Upper Vinschgau Valley and its unique mountain world. To the right of the Watles mountain station, adventurers can take off from the nearest high plateau at 2,200 m (near Lake Pfaffensee). The brave are rewarded with a 360° view of the surrounding mountains of the Ortler Group, the Sesvenna Group, the Ötztal Alps and the entire Upper Vinschgau Valley.
After 1,150 metres of altitude difference, the pilots land on the specially provided landing field in the valley floor in front of the village of Schleis, directly on the country road.
No special knowledge is required, but sturdy shoes and warm clothing are a must.
Coming from the north and south, you first have to drive through the village of Burgeis towards Schlinig. After about 5 km, turn right at the crossroads towards the hamlet of Prämajur and the Watles valley station.
