Alpine Tour Kornigl - Schöngrub peaks

The hike begins at the Hofmahd parking area and leads you along the Proveis experience trail to the Cloz Alm. There, you turn right onto trail number 7 toward Kornigl. Above the tree line, the path steadily ascends. Behind you, a breathtaking view of the majestic mountains of the Deutschnonsberg opens up.

The final stretch to the summit requires sure-footedness and a head for heights, but the effort is rewarded with a spectacular view. Afterward, you walk along the ridge in a southwest direction to the Schöngrubspitze. From there, you begin your descent on trail 10 until you rejoin your original hiking path and return to the Hofmahd parking area.
