    Starting point: Certosa/Karthaus (1,327 m a.s.l)
    Ascent: 1,780 m elevation gain, 5-6 hours
    Best time: December to May

    A nice double summit as a south-westerly cornerstone between the Penaudtal Valley and the Schlandrauntal Valleys. Ascent from Certosa/Karthaus through the Penaudtal Valley as far as Mountain pasture Penaud (2,319 m a.s.l). Initially climbing more to the right through the little valley, then more to the left towards the Zerminiger gap (2,850 m a.s.l) that is located between Roßkopf (2,891 m a.s.l) and Zerminiger (right). Now, continue either westwards towards the easily reached Westgipfel (3,059 m a.s.l) with a summit cross or northwestwards to the main summit, where you will finally have to remove your skis. The descent is more or less the same as the ascent.

    You walk along the west bank of the lake to the southeastern end of the lake. There you will be find the junction for hiking trail nr. 1 on the right - hand side. Follow this hiking trail for about 2,2 km until you come to the fork in the road. From there you fallow the hiking trail nr. 4 for about 3 km until you come to the Rossalm hut. The walking time is 3 hours.

    Also orographically speaking to the right of the Penaudtal Valley and more southerly towards Vinschgau Valley. The ascent is also from Certosa/Karthaus into the Penaudtal Valley, as with the ski tour to the Grubenspitze, but to Mountain pasture Penaud; continue up the Penaudtal Valley, take a left at altitude 2,500 and climb the lateral valley in a south-easterly direction. It is possible to reach the summit on skis. Descend by the same route.

    Hike on old haymaking paths to the Lüsen Alps.

    Before motorization an road construction, the hay harvest from the alpine pastures in winter was brought to the valley with sledges. The hike leads from the Lüsnerhof tot he left of the stream on the farm track uphill. At the edge of the forest the road through the forest goes left to the farmhouse of the Gargitthof. Below the farmhouse there is a nice resting place witha wonderful panoramic view. The way back goes from the rest area over the path tot he forest road and back to Lüsen Rungg.

    The Schwemserspitze is south of the Weißkugel with which it creates a massif between the Schnalstal valley and Matschertal valley. The ascent is from Maso Corto/Kurzras  across along Sommerweg (summer path) as far as the bridge, then in each case turning left into the Langgrubtal Valley. Then turn towards the north and climb the steep slopes as far as the Schwemser Ferner glacier. The easiest way to climb the glacier is by the south-west ridge. You can descend along the same route.

    In just a few minutes the Taser cable car takes you comfortably from the valley station in Scena to 1.450 metres in altitude to the natural and excursionist paradise of Mount Scena. The Malga Taser situated close to the station at the top, offers culinary delights and relaxation in its purest form.     Together with the Kleinen Wigenspitze that is slightly northwards, the Hohe Wiegenspitze rises between the Mastauntal and the Penaudtal valleys. Climb from Unser Frau through the Mastauntal valley, passing by the beautifully situated Mountain pasture Mastaun  (1,810 m a.s.l). At the end of the valley, once you have negotiated the steep slope you will be on flat ground again. The trail continues, taking a sharp left, over the hollows of a wide valley and finally rising sharply over the western ridge to the summit. Descend by the same route.

    The Saurian Trail takes you on a journey to the Permian, about 260 million years ago, a time during which the rocks and fossils of the Bletterbach Gorge and the Dolomites were formed.

    Starting point: Langtaufers/Kappl, parking lot former chair lift Maseben
    Ascent: Ascent via the forest path or along the edge of the slope to the disused mountain station. There, continue in a southerly direction until the end of the anchor lift. In the middle of the valley continue to the foot of the mountain. Over the north slope you ascend at the beginning rather in the middle. Via Mulden you reach an even steeper slope, which is best walked up from left to right into a small gap. Over the west ridge, you walk to the summit on foot and later on skis again.
    Hints: The tour requires a reasonable choice of route. 
    Descent: Along the ascent route. In optimal conditions, it is possible to ski down from the summit directly over the northern slope. It takes about 40 min to ski down.

    The outstandingly beautiful Via Ferrata Santner is secured with steel ropes, iron hooks and ladders, it leads you through small gullies and narrow passes, the most challenging of which is the “Ice Gully”, a small gully which is often covered in hard-packed snow even in August. Due to risk of landslides, this route should only be climbed uphill and not downhill. After you leave the Ferrata at the Santnerpass mountain hut, the trail goes on to the refuge Gartlhütte Hut through the valley of Vajolettal and the Tschagerjoch back to the Kölnerhütte Hut.
