The Passo Lavazè (1800 m) is home to a number of trails leading through forests, across snowy plains and into the Fiemme Valley.
The cable car departs just outside the village of Predazzo. The route crosses the area of the Regola Feudale di Predazzo [Feudal Rule of Predazzo], a unique example of collective private property in Italy. It arrives in Gardonè (1650 m) which is the starting point for the themed trails of Latemar Montagnanimata: the Forest of Dragons and the Path of the Distracted Shepherd, as well as the toboggan run on rails, the Alpine Coaster Gardonè.

The four-person chairlift with canopy will take you from Gardonè (1650 m) to Passo Feudo (2200 m). We are in the presence of Latemar, a World Heritage Site, and here, the panorama is exceptional. This is the start of the geological trail, Geotrail Dos Capèl (created in conjunction with the MUSE Science Museum of Trento and the Geological Museum of the Dolomites in Predazzo), and of excursions that will take you out to discover the peaks of Latemar, such as the famous “Tower of Pisa (2671 m), and tours of Latemar by mountain bike.

LATEMARIUM: This mountain hike via the “Latemar. 360°” viewing platform to the Latemarhütte mountain hut (2,670 m) is one of the most beautiful in the southern Latemar-massif and offers an impressive panorama of the surrounding mountains.
The winter hike begins in Obereggen. From here you can either take the Ochsenweide cable car or the footpath (next to the sledging trail) up to the Epircher Laner Alm Alpine farm. Follow the meadow trail to the Mayrl Alm, Zischgalm and Ganischger Alm Alpine farms. Return via the same route.
On narrow but beautiful hiking trails you reach the mountain cinema at the foot of the Rosengarten. The phenomenal view of countless mountain peaks such as Latemar, Schwarzhorn | Corno Nero, Weißhorn | Corno Bianco, Ortler | Ortles, Stubai and Zillertal Alps, Tschafon | Monte Ciavone and Schlern | Sciliar, compensates for the steep ascent.
