The trail is interactive and family-friendly, showing various monuments such as the Castelfeder ruin, the Caldivo Castle ruin, the Old Railway Trail or the Kiechlberg hill, the Ora waterfall and the Gleno waterfall. During the walk, you will reach several viewpoints from which you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view of the Alto Adige Adige Valley, including the Monte Corno Natural Park. Learn about hidden historical treasures along the way, find out all kinds of exciting stories about wine growing in South Tyrol and enjoy local delicacies to go with a drop of our product of excellence, Pinot Noir. The trail is interactive and family-friendly and passes numerous sights such as the archaeological sites of Castelfeder, the Fleimstal railway, Castel Kaldiff or Kichelberg and runs past the magnificent waterfalls of the Schwarzenbach and Glen. Beautiful viewpoints of the entire Adige Valley and the Trudner Horn Nature Park reward hikers along the way.

Weekly market in the historic arcades of Neumarkt/Egna

Your guide leads you through several stations where she tells about winegrowing, landscape and history. On the way, at the Baron Widmann winery, in the vineyards, at the Castel Turmhof Tiefenbrunner winery and in the Cantina Cortaccia, you can taste 5 typical wines. The walk lasts 3 1/2-4 hours, about 50 minutes of which are spent actually walking.

Here’s what’s waiting for you: • Pfitscher wines by the glass or bottle • Stunning views over the Alto Adige Valley • Creative bites by Dolomiti Street Food & Amalia Pernter 1896 • Easygoing vibes among the vines, soft tunes, and summer breeze Want a closer look what we do? At the typical morning snack, the so-called "Holbmittog", and the 3-course lunch in one of the top restaurants in Kurtatsch you can enjoy culinary specialties.

In a full-day tour you will hike with one of our professional guides through our vineyards from 900 m up to 220 m and taste 12 wines of our TERROIR line in their respective locations.
