From 4 p.m., when night falls, thelights will bring our village to life and we can visit the illuminated nativity scenes.

Knowing the nature - that's the direction of the Rottensteiner family. After a walk through the vineyards and a visit to the winery, we will taste the wines.

Every Friday evening from 7.30 p.m. to 10.00 p.m., the ice rink in Gossensass transforms into a glittering surface for night owls. Enjoy this magical experience as you glide across the ice to music and sparkling lights.

Evening amission is free with the activeCARD - so put on your skates and let´s go!

A nighttime adventure you shouldn’t miss in winter!

At the Allriss Hut in the Pflersch Valley, you can enjoy moonlit tobogganing with friends and soak up the unique atmosphere of the winter mountains. Since the toboggan run is not illuminated, we recommend bringing a headlamp.

You can reach the mountain hut on foot in about 1 hour from St. Anton (Pflersch Valley).

The Allriss Hut is open every Tuesday and Friday until 10:00 p.m. (hot meals served until 8:00 p.m.).

A winter evening straight out of a storybook: walk through the snowy forest by lantern light, listen to the guide’s tales, and feel the quiet magic of nature all around you. At the campfire, a steaming mug of homemade mulled wine awaits – warming, fragrant, and simply delicious. Depending on snow conditions, the tour takes place as a snowshoe hike or winter walk. In the football building in Welsberg, Herbert Gitzl presents his handcrafted nativity scenes. The exhibition is open from 05:00 pm to 08:00 pm and offers mulled wine and Christmas treats for a cosy Advent evening.

Coppa Italia at the Grogg Biathlon Centre in Martelltal. A sprint race will be held on Saturday, 13 December 2025, and a pursuit race on Sunday, 14 December 2025. Approximately 180 athletes from all over Italy will compete. Start times are yet to be announced.

Our Christmas market, the Alpine Advent Sarntal Valley, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. This year in Val Sarentino, the visitors of our Christmas street market will be enchanted by a myriad of Christmas trees. 20 wooden stands will display the traditional, handcrafted and unique products made in Val Sarentino, while the food and wine stands will offer local goodies such as sweet and airy Krapfen, Striezl (Sarentino-style fried bread) and rye bread. The Christmassy feeling will be heightened by music bands and carol singers and in addition there will be a hands-on workshop and animation shows for the children.

From 8 to 21 December, every Weekend, the Christmas wooden huts with handmade items and delicacies invite you to linger and enjoy. The live nativity scene by Heimatbühne Neumarkt will once again attract a large number of visitors and make children's eyes light up. In addition, craft workshops, fairy tale hours and carriage rides will ensure unforgettable experiences. Devotional sounds provide a festive backdrop and create a contemplative atmosphere. The magic and enchantment of the Christmas season are provided by a variety of artistic performances with breathtaking shows. All this makes ‘Christmas under the starry sky’ a very special kind of Christmas market.

A charming nativity scene exhibition awaits you in the choir area of the pavilion. The participants of the nativity scene workshop proudly present their handcrafted creations, made with great attention to detail and bringing the Christmas story to life.

The Margreid Lantern Advent invites you to enjoy the pre-Christmas season in an atmospheric setting. Mulled wine stands, an idyllic Christmas forest and lovingly designed lanterns decorating the streets and houses give Margreid a special Christmas glow.
A highlight is the Krampus run on 5 December, accompanied by St. Nicholas, who gives gifts to the children. Musical performances, Advent stories and culinary delights create a festive atmosphere for young and old alike.
On 23 December, the traditional charity mulled wine stand invites you to enjoy music and community spirit – and the most beautiful lantern decoration of the year is also awarded a prize.

The torch-lit walk begins at the tourist office in Niederrasen and leads participants through the winter darkness, past snow-covered paths and picturesque landscapes. The route ends atmospherically at the Christmas market in the park, where the scent of mulled wine and baked goods welcomes the walkers. You can toast this magical winter evening with a warm drink – an unforgettable experience for young and old during the festive Advent season! NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

Pre-Christmas Events in Terento.
We want to bring children, families and guests closer to rural culture and traditions on the topic of Christmas. The trail leads from the decorated village centre to the town hall with cookie baking for children, to the crib exhibition and to the Christmas market. Handicraft products are offered at different stalls on the playground. The Christmas experience continues along the trail lit by torchlights and candlelight with special light effects to the "Stockner Waldile" forest, where rural specialities are offered in traditional huts. Fairytales and stories for children are told around the campfire in front of a big Christmas crib and a petting zoo.

Skiing at sunrise! It's sunrise at Mutegg and you're the first to stand before the untouched, freshly groomed slopes. What a wonderful morning atmosphere! In December and January, the Schwemmalm ski area offers this special highlight and opens the ski area every Saturday before sunrise. The authentic wine experience for all senses takes place in the newly created wing of the Cantina Kurtatsch. During the visit, you will gain fascinating insights into the importance of terroir, the variety of Kurtatsch’s vineyard sites, and its unique wines. The educational TERROIR Experience will lead you into the new dolomite barrique cellar with its natural rock wall and conclude with a tasting of 5 wines from our TERROIR line. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 18 people. Please note that dogs are welcome in our wine shop and on the terrace, but for hygiene reasons they cannot take part in the guided tours. We start at 8 am with our fluffy animals at the Bacherhof farm in Mölten and hike on trail no. 13 away from the noise and hustle and bustle through the forest to the Schlaneiderhof bistro. There we enjoy a regional breakfast. Afterwards we return to the Bacherhof.

Family trekking
1 family + 2 llamas
We start with our fluffy and curious animals at 10 am at the Bacherhof in Mölten and hike through the forest without noise and hustle and bustle on trail no. 13 towards Schlaneid.
Once we arrive at the Schlaneid playground, we take a short break. We then hike back the same way to the Bacherhof.
Duration: approx. 2.5 hours


Panoramic trekking
We start with our fluffy and curious animals at 10 am at the Bacherhof in Mölten. We hike without noise and hectic through the forest to Ortisei, descend to Schlaneid and then hike back to the Bacherhof.
Duration: approx. 3.5 hours
