Kaltern counts many different places that are especially reserved for children to play. The play area of S. Niccolò offers many different attractions and plays such as: sandboxes, slides, swings as well as climbing frames and a table tennis. Perfect for kids to have fun.

The biggest playground from Dobbiaco/Toblach Grieswaldile is located in Dobbiaco Vecchia/Alttoblach.

There are two public playgrounds in Marling. One of them is directly alongside the fairground (A. Pattisstrasse), whilst the other is a little lower down on Tiefackerweg. The playgrounds are open from 8 am to 10 pm. Animals are not permitted to enter the playgrounds. In addition, unnecessary noise should be avoided, particularly during the lunch hour between 1 and 2 pm.

A family of giant snowmen
Gigantic, friendly, and as white as snow, the giant snowmen will greet you with a smile in the winter wonderland at the mountain station of the Croda Rossa cable car in the skiresort 3 Peaks in the Dolomites. Funnily enough, the family of snow men appear almost tiny against the backdrop of the impressive peaks of the Dolomites. Their true dimensions only become truly apparent once you ski past.

The Ski Cross Track La Crusc guarantees fun and action outside the “typical slope”. It is a revolutionary route with freeride and freestyle oriented elements, distant from the crowd, created for skiers and snowboarders of all ages. A sequence of big steep turns, rollers, drops and jumps on the perfectly primed cross-slope offers powder-entertainment at its best.
On the Free Ride Cross of La Crusc you will experience a shift from the slope to the backcountry, while having a view on the unique panorama of the mountain massif Sas dla Crusc (Kreuzkofel – Santa Croce).

The whole Alta Badia region is one big playground in the summer with its meadows and woods. But this, for us in Alta Badia, wasn’t enough: the beautiful natural surroundings became the foundation for the design of enjoyable play parks.
Each of the six towns of Alta Badia has therefore at least one game park for children: in Corvara there is one by the pine wood and another one by the biotope lake.
