Family Program: Fire Workshop with Wild Cooking

Schenna/Scena, Meran/Merano and environs

On our walk through the forest, we collect firewood, which we then use to start a fire without matches. We learn how to handle the dangers of fire and how to use medicinal herbs for burns. While gathering around the campfire, we listen to adventurous stories about fire and, of course, cook up a tasty “wild” treat.

    Everything you need to know

    Parking lot in front of restaurant Tiefenbrunn
    Meeting point is in front of Gasthof Tiefenbrunn (Verdinserstrasse 34/a). Parking is available at the school, from where the meeting point can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes.
    Getting there by public transport: Bus line 231 from Merano – get off at the “Tiefenbrunn” stop.

    Hiking shoes, something to drink and eat, rain protection, and optionally a seat cushion.
    The ticket can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 days before the event; after that, 50% of the ticket price will be charged. In the event of cancellation on the day of the event or no-show, no refund will be issued.
    Our family program is specially designed for enjoying memorable moments together – we’re happy to welcome you! Please note that children can only participate when accompanied by an adult.
