Dear families, we cordially invite you to an exciting hike through the pine and spruce forest in the Rautal valley. Together we will go in search of animal tracks and other traces, and experience lots of interesting educational games.
Difficulty: easy | Distance: 7 km | Elevation change: 200 m downhill
Meeting point: Visitor center of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park, San Vigilio di Marebbe (BZ) | 8:45 a.m.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: From the Nature Park Visitor Center in San Vigilio to Pederü by bus, and return from Fodara Masaronn to San Vigilio also by bus! Tickets must be paid for by the participants.
This hike is part of the RESPECT campaign. The initiative highlights South Tyrol’s unique natural and cultural landscape, a precious heritage that has been preserved for generations through responsibility, care, and respect. Together, we will discover this special landscape and show how even small gestures can make a big difference.

Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park Visitor Center
By bus: There are connections to Brunico, Corvara and Val Badia. Change at “Longega (Marebbe), Longega” and get off at the stop “S. Vigilio (Marebbe), Nature Park Visitor Center,” 100 meters from the Center.
By car: Free parking directly at the Park Visitor Center.
Registration by Friday, September 25th, 5:00 p.m.
Suitable clothing, rain protection, sturdy footwear, plenty of drinking water, and a packed lunch for the midday break.
If someone is unable to attend, please kindly cancel by phone at the Nature Park Visitor Center. This allows us to inform and invite people on the waiting list in good time. Thank you for your understanding!
