Baking bread at the farm - Winter edition

ONLY GERMAN AND ITALIAN SPEAKING GUIDES! Baking together traditional bread in a wood-burning oven is fun and not difficult. The farmers demonstrate step by step how to mix all ingredients to form a dough. People are invited to lend a hand, and while the dough rises, they may discover the farm, the garden and the animals such as cows, calves, pigs and rabbits. Finally, the loaves will be baked in a wood-burning oven and, afterwards, tasted together. An interesting and exciting experience for the whole family! Meeting point: Tourist information office in Teis at the Mineral Museum, Teiser Straße 12 Time: 1.00 pm - duration: approx. 3 hours The farm is 2 km outside the village. Please register at the office in Teis before you start and then drive to the farm by car or if on foot you should arrive half an hour earlier.
