Repair Cafe

On this day, everything in the library revolves around fixing things.
Visitors to the Repair Café bring their nonworking items: toasters, lamps, hairdryers, clothing, bicycles, toys, knives... anything that no longer works, is broken or damaged. Volunteer repairers try to find a solution. Repairs are free, but parts are paid out of pocket.
There are also free second-hand clothing and shoes available.
All visitors are invited to coffee and cake.
This initiative is a joint project of the Senior Association and the Jenesien Library. By promoting repair, we aim to reduce waste and actively protect the climate. For more information about the Repair Café concept, you can visit https://www.repaircafe.org/en.
