Ski Touring Course - Setprice

Moos in Passeier/Moso in Passiria, Meran/Merano and environs

Multi-day course with avalanche knowledge, tour planning, and practical ski touring experiences in the mountains

Swap the ski lift stirrups for skins, experience the deep silence of the dormant mountains and draw your own track in the soft, dusty powder snow. Ski tours open up a wide range of experiences, but good equipment, fitness, detailed planning of the tour and the recognition of objective dangers are essential. You can learn all of this and put it directly into practice in our ski touring course. Program: Day 1: Basic course avalanche (theoretical introduction, avalanche search, avalanche dogs) Day 2:Advanced course based on a ski tour (tour planning, assessing the avalanche danger, tracking) Day 3: Guided ski tour together Note: - Ability to ski in ungroomed terrain required - On the first day, snowshoe hikers are also welcome to join The event will be in German and Italian.

    Choose an eco-friendly journey by public transport (bus line 239, 240 or 241) - bus stop "Moos, Rathaus/Moso, municipio". Parking facilities on site.

    Ski touring equipment (can be rented at Günthers Rentasport in Pfelders/Plan, not included in the price) and provisions.
    The cancellation of the booked service can be made until 3 p.m. the day before. In this case the participant will be refunded 100% of the costs. Alternatively, a rebooking for a service of equal value or for a service of greater value can be made until 3 p.m. of the day before. If the amount of the alternative service is less than the price paid, no difference will be paid. In case of cancellation or deregistration after 3 p.m. of the previous day, as well as in case of non-appearance on the defined date of the offer, no refund will be made and the costs will be borne 100% by the participant:in. If the service is canceled by the organizer, the participant:in will be refunded 100% of the costs.
