Spring Awakening on the Miners’ Trail

Villanders/Villandro, Brixen/Bressanone and environs

Peaceful spring hike with Dolomites panorama

A relaxing, varied hike through quiet forests and flowering meadows. Following the Miners’ Trail, we’ll pass the historic mine and again and again enjoy breathtaking views of the Dolomites.

Schedule:
Bus ride to the "Mine" junction ("Bergwerk"), then hike to the mine and visit the mining exhibition. Ascent via the Miners’ Trail and through the “Fuchslöcher” to the viewing platform, then continue to the Pfunderer Weather Cross and Ladestatt. At Sambergerhof there will be an option to stop for refreshments. After the break we’ll hike back to the village.

    At 9:50 a.m. at the bus stop in the village, in front of Despar
    From Chiusa via the SP87 to Villandro (village) or by public bus from Chiusa to Villandro.
