Chess remains a popular game enjoyed by young and old alike. It challenges and stimulates the mind, spatial awareness, forward thinking and complete concentration. Chess computers now offer many opportunities to practise the discipline. However, the most exciting thing is and always will be to play live and confront your opponent directly.
That is why the Hans Glauber Library and the Niederdorf Chess Club are now jointly organising a chess meet-up, to which all interested parties are cordially invited. It is intended to be a relaxed get-together for beginners and experienced players alike. Chess clocks are available and the club players are happy to share tips.
