Exhibition "Mirë se vini - Mirë se ju gjeta"

Laives/Leifers, Bolzano/Bozen and environs

The exhibition deals with the life stories and perspectives of the Albanian community between origin, migration and cultural identity.

12.05.2026 – 07.06.2026

Laives, Exhibition hall, Via Pietralba 29

Artists: Daria Akimenko, Joana Preza, Stefania Rossi

Curators: Margherita Cestari and Samira Mosca

An exhibition born from the desire to open a space for reflection on Albania – through stories, encounters, and shared perspectives. A project that takes shape through dialogue with people of Albanian origin, travelers who have journeyed through the country, and members of the second generation who have grown up between multiple cultures.

From conversations, open doors, and narratives of a still-near past, personal memories emerge, fragments of everyday life, and stories passed down from generation to generation. The Albanian community in Trentino-South Tyrol lives beside us every day – and yet their stories often remain unheard.

In Laives, it is the people themselves who speak through a series of interviews: they share stories of departure and arrival, of belonging and change – in an authentic dialogue that gives voice and presence to those who often remain in the background.

The exhibition thus becomes a meeting point between perspectives and cultures, a space where personal stories become the foundation for exchange and mutual understanding.
