Shabnam Parvaresh and her Sheen Trio weave together electrified jazz, post-rock, and Iranian melodic traditions to create a dense sonic narrative where they flow seamlessly into one another. The bass clarinet leads the journey with a nuanced and strikingly intense narrative voice. Accompanied by guitar and drums, it gives rise to multilayered tapestries that bridge the avant-garde with a refined folk aesthetic.
