Snow-shoe walking: Hirzer

THE GUIDE IS ONLY IN GERMAN AND ITALIAN! An unforgettable winter hike through the idyllic Videgg/Viadacqua-Hirzer hiking area. Discover this stunning winter terrain on an organised snowshoe hike with guide. After reaching Videgg by bus from Schenna/Scena, our hike starts along the forest road, through the snow-covered forest looking out on a majestic mountain panorama to the Videgger Asse pastures and back. This winter hike maximises the experience of this pristine terrain, our snowshoes enabling us to move across the snow with little effort. The total elevation gain is approximately 400 m, and the hike lasts about 3 hours. For lunch we stop at a cosy mountain inn in Videgg to enjoy a taste of the sumptuous local fare. After this well-deserved break we make our way back to Schenna in the early afternoon. Throughout our snowshoe hike, we are accompanied by experienced mountain guide, Elisabeth Unterthurner.
