The Audi Youth Choir Academy and the Academy of Ancient Music Berlin present Giuseppe Verdi's Messa da Requiem under the direction of Martin Steidler on July 25. The work is profoundly moving, a dramatic interplay of inner devotion and monumental power, as well as overwhelming emotional intensity—shattering, comforting, and deeply human.
