Exploring the starry sky with the MTB: From the Frommer Alm hut to the observatory in Gummer | San Valentino, passing by the Wolf Pit and along the Planet Path.

A moderately difficult MTB tour from the Frommer Alm hut to Gummer | San Valentino in Campo, home to South Tyrol’s unique observatory. The route mainly follows gravel forest roads and easy trails (S1), passing by the historic Wolf Pit before continuing towards Gummer | San Valentino. Along the Planet Path, we reach the observatory. After a lunch break, we visit the observatory. The return to Welschnofen | Nova Levante follows the so-called “Taufenweg”. Finally, we take the cable car back to the starting point.
