Dive into the wonders of the universe – first in the cosy seats of the Planetarium, then on foot along our true-to-scale Planet Path (in german and italian languague)! ⭐ Planetarium Lean back and relax as we bring the real night sky over South Tyrol directly under the dome – regardless of clouds or sunshine outside. In the guided show “The Starry Sky of Summer” you’ll discover the planets and constellations currently above you, hear fascinating stories about their origins, and take a virtual leap into the vastness of the cosmos. 🪐 Planet Path Hike After the film, we head to the observatory in Obergummer|San Valentino di Sopra and set off on the Planet Path – scaled 1:1 billion! Along the themed path, we explain the dimensions of our solar system. The planet stations make the enormous scale of space tangible – for kids and adults alike. IMPORTANT INFO: - just in german and italian languague - Duration & difficulty: approx. 4 hours total, including film and hike. The walk is easy, but a bit of stamina is needed. Hiking shoes recommended. - Weather: In case of bad weather, the hike will be cancelled – the Planetarium show will still take place. - Transport: Getting from the Planetarium in Gummer to the observatory in Obergummer requires your own car. ☀️ Sun Observation & Relaxed Finish After the hike, and maybe a well-deserved break at Unteregger Farm near the observatory – or a picnic – we invite you at 2 pm to the solar observatory: a special highlight where you can observe the Sun live! 💶 Costs & reservation: Adults: €10 (Planetarium + hike) Children: €7 Solar Observatory extra: €6 adults, €3 children Reservation: online up to 24 hours before the event
