The Day of the Choirs, in cooperation with the Association of South Tyrolean Choirs, will take place at the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle on the 20st Sept.

Children, youth, women's and men's choirs from all over South Tyrol will perform at Trauttmansdorff throughout the course of the entire day, sending the sound of local choral music ringing out over the Asian bamboo, North American forests and exotic Mediterranean landscapes.

Directions

Bus numbers 1, 1 (Trauttmansdorff) and 4 (Maia Alta/Obermais) depart at 20-minute intervals from the Merano/Meran town centre as well as the central railway station.

Service description

Almost all of the paths running through the gardens are wheelchair and stroller friendly; all stairs and grades over 8% are marked on the overview map. In the Visitors’ Center, manual and electric-powered wheelchairs are available for visitors, free of charge.
