Völs am Schlern/Fiè allo Sciliar, Dolomites Region Seiser Alm

center
The ‚Oachner Höfeweg‘ (‚Oacha‘ is the dialectal name for the village of Völser
Aicha, a hamlet of the municipality of Völs am Schlern) is undoubtedly
one of the hiking highlights in the Völs area, particularly suitable for a
spring or autumn hike. Our circular route begins in the village of Prösels.
The trail descends gently past the farms of Prösler Ried and Unteraicha,
winding through meadows and forests. From there, we’ll follow signposts
to Völser Aicha, partly along the country road, before returning to the path
marked ‚Höfeweg.‘ The landscape above the Tiers Valley features deciduous
forests with chestnut trees, meadows, and vineyards.
