Sporthilfe Gala

On April 10, the Kurhaus in Merano will once again become the stage for sport. This historic and prestigious building in the heart of Merano provides the perfect atmosphere for the Dolomiten Sportlerwahl 2026 awards ceremony. In cooperation with partners Athesia and RAI Südtirol, this gala evening dedicated to sport is being organized and, as in previous years, will be broadcast live on Rai Südtirol.

All sports enthusiasts in South Tyrol eagerly await the election of the Sportspeople of the Year. During the evening, awards will also be presented to the Team of the Year and Coach of the Year, the two Young Talents (Ossi Pircher Award), and the Sportsperson with a Big Heart. Outstanding athletes will additionally receive recognition for their sporting life achievements. Prominent figures from South Tyrolean sport, past and present, are expected, along with executives and representatives from the local economic and political spheres.

Various music acts will accompany guests at the Sporthilfe Gala until the early hours of the morning.
