Dry stone walls – UNESCO World Heritage Site

Dry stone walls have shaped the cultural landscape of the Vinschgau Valley for centuries and have been recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. On this excursion to Tschengls, we will discover their significance for the landscape, biodiversity and sustainable land use. An experienced craftsman will demonstrate the traditional construction methods, whilst the director of the Stelvio National Park will outline the measures and investments being made to preserve this valuable cultural landscape.
