Art made of snow: 36th Dolomites Snow Festival enchants San Candido

From 18 to 20 January 2027, the idyllic Dolomite village of San Candido will once again be transformed into an open-air art gallery made of snow.

Ten international teams will travel to San Candido to create impressive sculptures from massive 3x3x3 metre blocks of snow. The works of art will be created in the open air, turning the centre of the Dolomite village into a fascinating venue for creative snow art.

"The festival is not only an artistic highlight, but also an expression of international encounter and cultural diversity", emphasise the organisers. For 36 years, the Dolomites Snow Festival has attracted visitors from all over the world.
