Since 1906, the Vinschgau Railway has connected people, places, and generations. Join us in celebrating this special anniversary on 18 July 2026.
Exactly 120 years ago, the first train travelled from Merano to Malles. Today, the Vinschgau Railway is one of Italy's most successful regional railways and a symbol of sustainable mobility in South Tyrol.
To mark this milestone, we invite you to celebrate with us. On Saturday, 18 July, enjoy a varied anniversary programme for all ages along the entire railway line – from fascinating historical insights and model railways to an exclusive opportunity to explore the new Coradia Stream train.
An unforgettable experience for the whole family!
