From the hiking car park above Mudler, the trail leads up to the Lutterkopf, which rises just above the tree line. Despite its modest elevation, the summit offers a magnificent panoramic view. To the south, the rugged peaks of the Sexten Dolomites dominate the skyline; to the north, the imposing summits of the Rieserferner Group come into view. Looking southwest, the panorama stretches across the Pustertal Valley to the Ötztal Alps and the Ortler Group. Refreshments possibility in a mountain hut.

Paid parking at the hiking car park above the mountain inn Mudler
Green mobility:
Bus line 438, bus stop “Taisten (Welsberg), Mudler”. The meeting point can be reached in 5–10 minutes on foot.
Südtirol Guest Pass – Gsiesertal-Welsberg-Taisten Card. Bringing a snack and a drink is recommended. Equipment: sturdy footwear, appropriate clothing, sun protection (hat, sunscreen), rain protection.
