Hike along the Graubünden border - From Prämajur to the Sesvenna Hut
Bus ride through the Vinschgau Valley, past Mals, a short climb up the Malser Heide, then turning left towards Burgeis, past the Marienberg monastery up to Prämajur (1,750 m) to the valley station of the cable car. After the cable car ride (separate fee), the hike begins. From the Plantapatsch Hut, the high-altitude trail leads at a moderate incline, with impressive views of the giant glaciers of the Ortler massif, continuing leisurely to the Sesvenna Hut (2,256 m). After a break at the hut, the trail passes the old Pforzheimer Hut, winds its way down a few bends near a cascading waterfall, and descends to the Inner and Outer Alm to Schlinig. There, the bus will be waiting to take us back to Algund.
