Peter Erskine is a jazz icon who has written significant chapters in the history of music. Alongside Jaco Pastorius and Joe Zawinul, he became a key member of the cult band Weather Report and recorded five albums, including the famous live recording 8:30, which won a Grammy Award.

Saxophonist, arranger, and educator Bob Mintzer has been a member of the Yellowjackets for over 30 years. Grammy-nominated pianist Alan Pasqua has played with Tony Williams, Jack DeJohnette, Paul Motian, Dave Holland, Michael Brecker, Randy Brecker, and Joe Henderson, while bassist Darek Oles has performed with Brad Mehldau, Billy Higgins, Pat Metheny, and Joe Lovano.
