How closely laughter and tears, joy and sorrow, longing for home and wanderlust are connected—and the immense energy and inspiration these contrasts can spark—is once again proven this year by OPAS DIANDL with their new program RIARN & GSPIARN (stir and feel, for non-Tyroleans). Since 2007, the quintet from South Tyrol has been exploring the playground of Alpine musical traditions, blending them with everything in their musical backpack: from Bach to Bluegrass, from Polka to Punk, from contemporary yodeling to classic singer-songwriter tunes.
