14th Festival of plum in Barbian

Barbian/Barbiano, Brixen/Bressanone and environs

On September 13, 2026, the traditional Barbian Plum Festival will take place in Barbian from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

On September 13, 2026, starting at 11:00 a.m., the traditional Barbiano Plum Festival will take place in Barbiano, featuring a variety of delicacies made from the local Barbiano plum, at the festival square in Barbiano.

The farmers’ wives and young farmers of Barbian will serve traditional plum dishes.

    Everything you need to know

    Leave the motorway at Chiusa. From the Klausen motorway exit, follow the Brenner state road (SS 12) in the direction of Bozen to Waidbruck. From there, take the entrance to Barbian on the right. Parking spaces are on the right in front of the village (underground car park).
